OCing radeon 9000 pro

is it possible to achieve?
cuz with my old system, i could not even OC it by 1 before it crashed ( sort of gray chess board like wallpaper everywhere), anyway i was wondering if i can overclok it now

ok, so, i got windows XP pro SP1
p4 2,6ghz @ 800 fsb
ASUS P4P800 mobo
and some pretty awsome cooling,

thz for helping me out

When you said awesome cooling do u have that on your video card?

Well, no, it still runs, but all processed graphics comme out chessboard with gray... so I can't see [-peep-] nemore

i once tried.mine is r9000.it is 250/400.i oc it.it became 290/500.mine computer is P41.6(256kL2),128Mddr266+256Mddr333,sis645 chipset.

If you got the saphire 9000pro then thats typical. The drivers now should let it OC pretty good. I got a 9000pro to do 300/600 with the recent driver releases while beforehand I could not bench the damned thing at all, even at stock speeds.
