Oculus and shipping

Don't know where to post this, but I have a question about oculus.

Currently if you pre-order it from the oculus website it gives you an expected shipping date of July because of how backed up they are.

However, i've already read that Oculus is supposed to be in retail stores (also amazon) in april.

I want to get an oculus, im just not sure which is the quickest way to do it.

Will oculus still be in stores irregardless of how backed up the pre-order situation currently is? Or will oculus fulfill all pre-order orders before they ship any to retail stores?

I'm not sure how it all works.

It may be in stores (though back-ordered frequently), or more expensive than the pre-order deal.

I don't think they've clarified that specifically, but pre-ordering is still probably the quickest way to get one for a secured price.

Stores always get their share of headsets. They start production for the stores first and then move onto pre-orders.

If you know someone who works in a store that will be selling an Oculus you could probably snag one.
