Question Oculus quest 2 vr headset

I want to buy an Oculus quest 2 headset and I have a Facebook account that I don't use only a name there no last name or a telephone. Do they accept that account as a login account or a mobile number is mandatory? I want the vr mostly for playing steam titles. i don't know if i need to login there anyway.. An account without a telephone number does consider fake by them?

It has been awhile since I used my quest (before Meta) but at that time I did not have to have a phone number on file.
