[SOLVED] Oculus Rift Specs

HI, I ran the oculus test on my pc and it said it couldnt run. I am planning on getting a new pc anyway but i was wondering if even though i dont meet the requirements can i still play steam vr if i can run it.

I'd run the SteamVR benchmark. IIRC, the Oculus benchmark isn't really running any tests, it's just checking your hardware against the list of requirements. It might, for example, fail an i7-3820 because it's older than the i5-4590. Of course, as Wolfshadw said, it would be good if you posted your CPU, GPU, system memory size, and OS.

These days, any "gaming" rig that says SLI or Crossfire needs to be immediately eliminated from consideration. It's just not supported any more. Additionally, those graphic cards are a couple generations old and you don't list what processor.

i don'y want to spend over £700 as i just simply cant afford a pc and oculus rift
