You know what, I think after SF1222, I just don't care anymore... The speed is enough. I just need more capacity at this point. I love my SSDs! Made computing fun again...
Affordable capacity of course. I have a plextor ssd it rates at 480 read and its so fast things install at a blink. but its only 128gig because they are freaking expensive. I honestly need at minimum 256 for my "windows program" drive 512 would be nice for buffer room. but thats $1000 i don't have for just a hard drive :/ A small hard drive at that.
Is there any reason 75,000 IOPS are required for home use or gaming? Is there some sort of software or game that requires 75,000 IOPS? I have not read about any, at least not for personal use or gaming.
I knew OCZ would be #1 2 years ago in the SDD market and specially now after buying SandForce's controller, can't wait to buy one when there $100 for a 1TB.
