OCZ Arc 100 or Trion 100

Hi guys, which one is better? I'm just looking for better launch times.

Is faster read better? The Trion has faster R/W.

Oh, and all I'm going to be doing is storing the OS and a few games on the SSD. I don't care about the write speed.

But they are cheap. Usually I'd recommend stepping up a few dollars to the Crucial BX100, which tends to be priced about half way between the Arc100 and the 850EVO at lower capacities. In recent times the BX100 has been priced the same as the OCZ drives at higher capacities too which makes the decision a no-brainer.

What capacity are you getting, are you shopping from the US, and can you use mail-in rebates? Answer those questions and I'll make some suggestions for you.

ive already bought the arc, and i cant spend an extra 10 dollars. has to be on amazon. Thanks for informing me though!

Fair enough. The Arc is still miles quicker than any hdd, so should still serve you well.
