So I saw this stuff on newegg, it's DDR800 cas3 which sounds awesome, and it's watercooled so it would fit into my watercooled system nicely, since I'm aiming to watercool as much as possible so I don't have to have a case fan, for a truly silent system. It's currently out of stock so I figured while I wait I'd see what your guys' opinions were.

So, is the water cooling on it actually effective, or just a gimmick?

Well, after reading the first review of that I saw "Running DDR1100 @ 4,4,4,12,2T timings @ 2.1V." that does look better than the OCZ. I wouldn't be overclocking quite that much though, no more than 1600fsb.

If you want to run at 1:1 then, that Crucial will do DDR800 with 3-3-3-6 timings (or at least my 2 kits will)....
