Ocz hard drive shows up in bios but will not boot.

Hello,I have the ocz arc 100 SSD, yesterday it was working just fine I shut down my computer like usual and when I got back from school my computer would just hung in the bios logo screen.so I thought uhmm ok probably ram but no ram was alright,so then it hit me that it might be the SSD I tried booting into a bootable USB stick with no luck (would hung as well)as soon as I disconnected my SSD everything started working again.

My question is can I somehow recover the SSD?To me it sounds like it is corrupted since I can see it in the bios.

Any advice would be HIGHLY APPRECIATED

Hmm. Sound like boot records were corrupted. Need to reinstall operating system. And if you want to recover all data just use a usb hdd enclouser and plug it on any other computer.

see if it a firmware bug of the drive. a lot of older ssd used to have power on death by bad firmware.
