Hello all,

I just wanted to know what would constitute a good 12V output on a power supply?

The reason I am asking is that I have recently purchased an OCZ Powerstream 520 and noticed that the 12V rail measured 11.98-11.99 on idle and load. This was tested with a digital multimeter. The rails do not move when loaded which is nice but I am a little surprised that it's under 12 on a power supply like this. So basically, I am trying to find out if this is normal. I would also like to add that the 5v and 3v rails are fine.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

That is very tight to spec.

And the sign says "You got to have a membership card to get inside" Huh
So I got me a pen and paper And I made up my own little sign</pre><p></font color=red>

RichPLS,

I know this is a stupid question but I am kind of new to the whole PSU arena. Is being that close to spec a bad thing or does it really not matter?

I was expecting the readings to be a little higher...like somewhere between 12.05 - 12.15.

Thanks again.
