OCZ RevoDrive 3 240GB running slow, what am I doing wrong?

I have just bought and fitted an OCZ RevoDrive 3 240GB, installed everything over the weekend, and its fine, but using benchmarks I am having trouble getting it over 390MB Read and 280MB Write (sequential and 512k about the same speed).

Now its not the end of the world, its fast, but its nowhere near the 1000MB and 900MB it says on the box.

Ok, some details..

I am using Crystal Disk Mark 3.0.1 x64 edition for benchmarking

Machine Spec

C2D Extreme QX9650 @ 4GHz
Asus P5Q Deluxe Mobo
8GB OCZ Platinum 1066Mhz
HIS ICEQ-X-Turbo-X 6950 Gfx
Corsair HX850 PSU
OCZ RevoDrive3 240GB SSD
WD Velociraptor 320GB
1TB Samsung Slave drive.

The RevoDrive 3 is a PCIe x4 card.
Assuming that your 6950 GFX is connected to the Blue PCIe x16 slot, verify that the RevoDrive 3 is connected to one of the 2 Black slots.

Yes the card is in PCI_X16 slot 2, (max 8x link)

Advertised speeds are with ATTO software, not CDM.
But still, your CMD numbers should be higher.

Are you on the latest firmware version (2.22)?
