OCZ Revodrive X2 PCI Secure Data Deletion with HDDerase?

I want to secure wipe my Revodrive and I've read that conventional wipe methods like the Gutmann and DoD algorithms don't work on SSDs. However, a Secure Erase ATA command written into every SSD would be more effective. My question is:

would a SE ATA command like HDDerase work on a Revodrive, which is using RAID and a PCI port?

if not, how can I secure erase the drive while keeping it functional?
