Ocz SSD not installing windows

I have recently set up a gaming computer running an asus rog ranger vii motherboard. I have quick formatted a ocz vector 150 ssd so there is nothing on it.

I have tried using AHCI and IDE and both times when I get to the windows installer page, it says that I can't detect any drivers.

Can anyone please help!

You want to keep it on AHCI, but change the boot options to support Legacy boot.

Do you know where in the asus rog bios I can find this option? - I'm kind of new to the amazing but confusing bios

Most likely where you find the UEFI options. Can't tell you exactly.

So it is already running on legacy only but still can not find the drive..

I tried plugging the ssd internally using a different ssd for windows install and I can see it in my disk management and in my explorer.. Why can't it be seen during windows install?..

I've seen this issue three times this week! The other two times one was that the SSD needed newer firmware, the other was a dodgy SATA cable connection
