I recently bought the Vertex 2 120GB SSD. I've read that using this for your OS and key programs can be a major upgrade in speed.
I've been using two WD Velociraptors, 150GB each, and a WD 750GB in a RAID 1+0 configuration.

What's the best way to setup and utilize the SSD given the configuration I have and what would be the recommended RAID settings.
Do I get rid of the 750 GB? Buy another one? Any and all input welcome. :heink:

Thanks much.

Go to the OCZ web site and OCZ forums. OCZ published detailed instructions, fixes, and a free replacement policy if you bought one of their newer Vertex 2 ssd's that uses the brand new 25nm MLC Flash which first shipped last month. Turns out users are not satisfied with the performance of the ssd's.

Definitely use the Vertex 2 for your OS and primary programs. I would use the WD 750GB for storage. Use the VelociRaptors however you wish, but I do not recommend RAID 0 for anything except high-speed temporary storage (such as video editing).
