So today I turn off my computer and unplug the power supply so I could use the cable to test another machine. After replugging my psu cable, my computer wont detect that an Ethernet cable is connected to it. I turn it back off and unplug it again and this time I decided to clean everything. I plug it back in and neither of my displays are working nor are any of my usb peripherals. I tried switching out my mobo and when that didn’t work I tried switching out the psu, neither changed the fact that anything connected to the back of my pc wasn’t getting power. Really wish I could use my computer lol. Please help.

Also like to mention that all lights and fans are running, and that I have been using a graphics card to test whether the displays will connect, not the integrated graphics. I can’t think of anything that would create this problem other than psu or mobo as both the graphics card io and the mobo io are completely not working at the same time.

Solution
Mobo: Gigabye GA-78LMT microatx
CPU: AMD FX 4300 4-core
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 SSC
RAM: 2 x 4gb DDR3
Drive: 7200rpm SATA 1TB
PSU: generic 350W
So you need GPU attached to boot. Have you try to jumper the Clear BIOS pin ? and make sure boot with GPU installed. I see you have generic PSU. It's not good for gaming system.
Try to clear bios, then boot after that. If it's not working, try to minimum boot (minimal hardware to boot the pc).
Neither method worked... both my keyboard and display are not recognizing that they are plugged into my pc. For clarity just in case, you mean to clear bios by removing the cmos battery for five minutes and holding the power button for 30 seconds during that time, correct?

Yes, like that. The other method is use the Clear CMOS jumper. Faster and sometimes more useful. If you don't know how to use the jumper, you can get the tutorial on youtube.

what is you full systems spec ? that's not good sign.

My mobo doesn’t have a jumper to clear cmos, that’s why I used the five minute method, like you said - genetic psu isn’t very good I’ve been meaning to get a new one for a while. I feel like it might be the issue - might not be supplying enough power for all my components after some sort of short or a similar issue.

Sorry, for make sure, your mobo like this right ? (just ignore if I'm wrong)

sure they have the bios jumper, near on sata socket you will find "CLR_CMOS". Your can refer to this link : https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-78lmt-usb3_v.6.0_e_04.pdf

page 4 to locate the jumper
page 17 for how to reset using jumper

No, but that is the mobo I had in originally before switching out after io ports stopped working. The new one is called the GA-78LMT-S2 as opposed to the GA-78LMT-USB3 that you referenced. Would you recommend me to put the one you referenced back in, in order to try the clear jumper?
