Odd clicking noise

Hello

On a laptop I purchased recently, I have been sometimes hearing a muffled clicking noise. It does not coincide with doing anything is specific, and it is not followed by any ugly scratching noises. There is a faint crinkly purring noise coming from it, but I'm almost completely sure thats just normal HDD noise. Should I be worried?

Yes, both noises.

The noises that sound like it's just freaking out would be background processes requesting disk activity. They usually run as zero pixel windows and therefore are not displayed, but can be found in Task Manager.
