[SOLVED] Odd colors on motherboard cpu pin

What is causing the discoloration of the pin in cpu socket. I look straight and realize one of the pin look dark at the top left corner of the motherboard. However looking from the top it is not visible as shown in the image below. Not sure if this will cause any problems for my CPU.

Looks like a little dried thermal compound fell onto that pin. The last picture doesn't show anything, so maybe it fell out as you were photographing.
