Maybe i don't know what i am talking about, but i remember learning that Tcase should be lower than Tjunction.

I have a Q6700(no OC) w/ a Zalman CNPS9700, and I am getting CPU temps consistently 5-10 degrees higher than my highest core temp. Right now i am getting a CPU of 47C, with cores of 34C, 39C, 43C, 43C .

Am i reading something wrong, or do these temps make no sense?

Also, these readings are from around 10% load w/ the multiplier at 6 (it only goes up to 9 when i open a bunch of things at once). Maybe the high temps are just the case, but something odd seems to be going on to me.

Any advice or insight would be highly appreciated.
