Hey Guys,
My DSL has an odd quirk I'm hopping you guys can help me figure out. I have a Arescom NetDSL800 modem and MSN service. The modem is in my room. When ever my parents use their cordless phone the DSL link light goes off and it stops working. I've tried swiching the modem to a diffrent line in another room. When I did that their was a bunch of static on my parents cordless phone. It's just their phone that has this problem. I've also tried switching filters. Do any of you know what's going on?

Guess what you need to buy someone for a gift yep you thought it a new phone.

No the actual problem is probally they are using a 900mhz or up phone and depending on weather you are running in DMT or CAP mode thoose phones cause part of the dsl frequency range to be you could say corrupted.

Saddly only solutions I know of is replace the phone or raise your line quality(stronger signal can usally handle the frequency range loss better).
