Hey guys.
I have a:
i5-4690k
16Gb Ram
GTX970 video card
When I play GTA5 my FPS drops down to 10-15 fps. I then exit the game and update the driver using Gforce experience. After the update my FPS in game jumps up to 60 FPS. I then turn off the game and the computer. I boot up the next day and in game my FPS is back down to 10 - 15 FPS. I have changed no settings. I open up Gforce experience and there was another driver update. I update and my FPS jumps back up to 60 FPS. I repeat the same thing the following day but my fps is back down to 10- 15. I look for yet another driver update but Gforce experience says my drivers are up to date.
I tried exiting all other background programs to no effect.
I ran Gforce experience again to look for another driver update. It says I'm up to date.
I opened up device manager and looked at the video card for conflicts. No conflicts.
I'm at a loss here.
