OK hello everyone,
I am having a strange issue with my display on my laptop I just ended up getting this laptop today and am noticing these grids of microdots on the screen (most visible on white backgrounds). I did some digging and one HP forum suggested booting into the BIOS to see if it was a driver issue which it didn't turn out to be (still had the dots on the BIOS screen before windows loaded drivers.) Out of curiosity does anyone know what these dots are and if its possible to remove them. On one hand they look like they could be pixels and on the other it kinda looks like it could possible be a template or something that was left behind. In any case Ill attach a photo of what I am referring to, the lines in this photo are just draw on to highlight the dots. Thanks in advanced.
