Question Odd problem with Corsair Vengeance LPX Modules (2x8gb) 3200mhz

Specs (no OC):

  • Ryzen 5 3600 (stock cooler)
  • AsRock B450 Pro4
  • RX 580 Saphire Pulse 8gb
  • SSD Crucial MX500 250gb (2,5)
  • Seagate Barracuda 1tb

- Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8gb 3200mhz (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W) (dual channel)

Problem: I can't run these modules at their normal clock which is 3200mhz more than 10 minutes without a blue screen or crash/memory error. But I can run them at lower clocks without problems (so far). I did the usual troubleshoting, cleaned the connectors, cleared CMOS, fresh windows (1903) instalation, AMD drivers, BIOS update. The mobo website say it is compatible with 3200mhz under R5-3600-Matisse CPU.

I tested the modules with MemTest86, on all slots. None of them show any error with the clock bellow 3200mhz. But at 3200mhz I got 1414 errors.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Thanks in advance.

to be fair its probly a bad batch of Hynix chips on the ram. e.g it could be simply one or 2 chips on the ram pcb that cant hit that 3200 speed

these chips do have history of stability issues on older ryzen chips so its possible these chips just cant hit 3200mhz properly

lpx has a hsitory of this issue starting from 2015 onward cause they use hynix
