I searched Google but keep finding widths (6.7"x6.7").
I'm looking for the max height of the MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC. The WiFi part looks the highest.
I'm dealing with a super narrow build for mid range gaming (Ryzen 2400G, mini power supply, etc), so if anyone has some comparable suggestions, that'd be welcome too. The WiFi power doesn't have to be extreme.

Solution

ahhhh....and the thickness requirement becomes apparent.

Not quite what you're looking for, but I've seen several small system cases with VESA spaced holes, and would mount directly on the back of a monitor or TV.
Looking at the screen, you don't know it exists.

There will be no graphics card. Thus the 2400G APU
Memory will be even higher eh? Dang. Any way to angle that?
Any different suggestions of going about this are welcomed. I'm trying to do mid-range gaming with very very limite d space.Total height can't exceed 1 3/4"

1.75"...44.5mm.
What are you doing for fans?
What will you be building this into?

I also meant case fans.

But an AIO water block also won't work.
Once you add the thickness of the motherboard, the socket, and the chip...that leaves maybe 1/2 that 44mm.

That would absolutely have to be some custom built waterblock. Pipes coming out the side.

The case fans aren't an issue. It's just the MB and anything directly connected to it (ie no wires/tubes that can be moved)
How thick are AIO blocks? I've never dealt with them before.

I'm not finding much on the actual thickness of the waterblocks.
But the main limiting factor is that on most of them, the pipes rise vertically away from the motherboard.

I see what you mean. Searching around. Have found so called "small forum factorz" coolers, but they don't seem to fit what I need so far.. Still looking. I have always assumed since I thought of this build that this would be the way to go. Almost wonderr if I could just buy a pre-built mini comp that I could shove inside. I'm basically just trying to turn my old flat screen TV into an all in one computer. It has spare room inside. I figured I could compensate for the over-stuffing with fans by the vents.. As it currently has none.

Looked into air cooling. Seems that's a better low profile option. Fot the TDP of the 2400G (corrected above U) I found the Thermaltake one that's 27mm... But it's for Intel it seems. Am I doing that right? The TDP of a Cpu = the max W coolers mention?
I also found this https://www.thermaltake.com/Liquid_Cooler/Liquid_Cooler_/All_in_One/C_00002470/Water_3_0_Performer_C_LNC/design.htm
I don't know if that's the same on others, but it appears the tube orientation can be rotated.
Update: I remeasured and I get ~45mm. I >might< b able to put it in a diff area to get 50mm

Basically what I've been looking into since last night, an Intel nuc. I don't want it viable period. If I get this whole HDMI connector thing fixed I think I'll order one. Smaller than 5x5" and only 1.5" thick.
Just gotta get a new HDMI port that points IN soldered on...

Here's a DIY thought, if you can't actually build a 1.5" thick PC.

Cut out the back. Build and mount the slightly thicker PC.
Construct a new raised panel to cover it up.

Done properly, looks factory made.

Or...
Deconstruct a laptop, and use its innards.
