I've noticed an odd speed when I performed a bench on userbenchmark, so I checked samsung magician benchmark and received same results. Not sure of the explanation for the results though. Initially I thought my 860 evo was slow, but then I realized my 850 evo was giving some pretty wacked out read/write speeds for a sata ssd...

After seeing the speed was benching at 1,098%, I thought the userbenchmark tool was just reporting inaccurate results for some underlying reason, and figured I should perform another bench using an alternate benchmark tool but I tested on Samsung magician and to my surprise, received the same odd results..

Not really what to make of the benches, it has to be wrong right? I mean a sata drive can't possibly reach these speeds?

You have RAPID mode enabled. That is using part of your RAM as a cache for the drive.
Those uber speed numbers are reading your RAM, not the drive.
