Hello guys. I recently upgraded my GPU to XFX AMD RX460 2gb single fan edition. Its working great. Im smelling this weird smell coming from my GPU when its like 70-80°C. When the GPU is idle the temperature is 35-40°C and i dont smell anything. Should i be worried?

UPDATE: Here is the PSU http://imgur.com/a/CanRL

It might be heating up unsettled dust, or it could just be the adhesive of the stickers on the PCB heating up.

If nothing is smelling burnt, like burnt rubber/plastic, it's probably not something life-threatening or PC-threatening. For all we know, it might be the new plastic (new gpu) smell.

Yes. You might be smelling magic smoke (the melted solder when something goes terribly wrong). Have you ever soldered before? Burn rubber? Does it smell like either of those? Are you overclocking? If so, what are the other components?

Is it directly from your GPU? Or maybe is it the PSU? Either way we all know that there should be no smell coming from the computer. So as soon as you find the source of that smell, I would change it immediately before it gets worse and starts damaging other components or even start a fire. As you changed your GPU recently it might be from it, however you didn't give us your PSU make, which can also be the cause of that smell if the PSU is of low quality.
