Odd thermal paste paterns, maybe an uneven cooler?

After cleaning out my desktop, I noticed that my CPU's T.I.M. had odd markings in it, it looks like there's improper contact between the CPU cooler and the CPU itself. I would love to learn about what's happening not only for the benefit of my system, but for my own knowledge going forward. Thank you to all those who help me!

-CPU: Intel i5-6600k

-Cooler: Enermax ETS-T40 fit white cluster (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835214065&cm_re=ENERMAX_ETS-T40F-W-_-35-214-065-_-Product)

Solution
That's usual thing with coolers that use direct contact pipes. If you are concerned about it you can apply some paste on cooler side and wipe it almost all off with a credit card so it just fills the small thin cracks between pipes and than apply paste on the processor usual way.
