Discussion Odd Windows 10 Start Menu Behavior

A lady I work with a has a Lenovo T14s laptop. When she clicks on the start menu it opens up in an expanded way. Not in a smaller box on the left hand side of the screen. I've check her settings and did a few google searches but can't figure out what caused this. Any suggestions.

Check to see if there is a Lenovo "Control Panel" or "toolkit" etc. such silliness riding alongside the normal Windows stuff. Almost assuredly what this is.

Will add the suggestion to take a peek in Task Manager > Startup for some such app or utility being launched at startup.

Or anything else that is unknown, unidentified, or unexpected.
