Ok, so I've made another post about video cards... well, this is the last one lol.

Im stuck between which one to choose. I dont want fanboys to give me advice, Im a Nvidia fan but I'll get ATI if it's the best bang for buck. I want the best performing card for the money.

My options are:

XFX Radeon 4850, 512mb. $110

Stream Processors: 800
Core Clock: 625 MHz
Memory Clock: 1998 MHz

EVGA GeForce GTS 250, 512mb. $125, $110 after rebate: Free Call of Duty World At War

Core Clock 756MHz
Stream Processors 128
Memory Clock 2200MHz

EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+, 512mb. $130, $115 after rebate: Free Call of Duty World At War

Core Clock 675MHz
Stream Processors 128
Memory Clock 2200MHz

XFX Radeon 4850 1gig, $125

Core Clock 625MHz
Stream Processors 800
Memory Clock 1990MHz

These are my main options. I'd like to get world at war but I suppose its ok if I dont, I dont want to spend $50 on it.

Besides the 1gig radeon, would I even see a difference between the 9800GTX+/GTS 250 and the 4850, or would they be about the same? If so, I'd go with the Nvidia so I can score me a copy of COD WAW!

Please, agian, I'd like nice, explained, detailed comments here..

Thank you.

20" widescreen

Games are stuff like, Age of Conan, Overloard, BF2, Cod4/5, company of heroes, Archlord, Warhammer Online, Americas army 3.. stuff like that

it says the 250 and 4850 are even, but those are 512, so would the 1 gig 4850 be the best, even though its clock rate is less than the 250?

Yup, tho it seemed to me the 250 had a slight edge, no matter.

Point was the last question you asked . . . absent the 1G 4850, what choice? 250 + the game.

Seems the choice would be down to 250 or 1G 4850. Dunno how often/where the 1G 4850 would make a significant difference. OTOH, games are transient, vid cards are forev . . . for a while at least.

Your call, your value judgement on this is the only one that counts.
