Finally bagged a log of this blue screen (these are fails)! I uninstalled (?)
Symancrap long ago. I don't network at home and don't plan to - Do I just
disable the network adapter? Thanks!

Looks to me like Symantec is still infesting your system!

Try this
Go to MSCONFIG
Look in the Static VxDs tab for the SYMEVNT entry, and uncheck it
OK out, and reboot - then uninstall ICS (From Add/Remove Programs | Windows
Setup) and reboot again

Do you need ICS at all? - do you have more than one PC??

Yes - there's no need for it unless running more than one PC on an Internet
connection (especially if the connection is through a router)
