Hi All,

In the process of figuring out what case to buy and after looking at lots of reviews, posts, etc, it seems that some cases come with fans and some do not. In general are the fans that come with cases of a high quality? Or do most folks just dump them for better ones? If the latter what fans are recommended?

In general I am most interested in quiet, great airflow cases. The ones that ATM are considered are:

Fractal Design - Meshify C Dark TG ATX Mid Tower Phanteks
Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass (Black) ATX Full Tower Phanteks
Enthoo Pro M Tempered Glass (Black) ATX Mid Tower

Ancillary question: Assuming that most of the fan noise will emanate from the top of the case, I have been focused on cases with great front to back airflow.....no?

Although, still lots of research to do.....

Thanks!

Phanteks have decent case fans, usually three-pin. They make the same fans in 4-pin though. I would not be surprised if Fractal's are decent as well.

Depends on the build if people replace them. For aesthetics or a sense of symmetry people often replace all the fans so that they match. When you are doing practical builds, case fans are case fans and they'll move the air until they fail.
