OEM Product Key Question(s)

Hello, the time has come for me to reinstall Windows 10 Pro on my computer. (Had many issues updating, default apps aren't working, and more) So I tried reinstalling my windows using the original install CD onto the same drive as it is currently installed. I used the same product key as what my System->Windows Activation reads and the install disk wont recognize the key. The key ends with AAOEM. I read here that OEM keys will stay with the PC when you reinstall windows. Is that true for Windows 10, meaning I should install without entering a product key?

If you're installing on the same setup, your OS was previously activated and you're installing the same version (Pro, Home) etc, you can "skip this step" when prompted for a key and it'll activate when you're online.
