Oem/tray higher price..

Hi, I understand that OEM/Tray mean no box, no manual, no fan etc.

But why, if i'm looking to buy a cpu, the oem/tray always sort as highest? I know that earlier we could buy these for OC and everything, because of the 1 year warranty and they were cheaper, but why would I pay (sometime) $100 more than the "in the box" cpu...? Thank you

There were a couple of instances where the OEM was a lot more than NotOEM, but those were from different sellers.
