Oem versions !

if i bought an oem version of w7 can you re-install the os on the same system more than once if any problems arise in the future ? thanks ,jb

yes as long as you keep the same motherboard.
its bound to a type of motherboard generally down to the model and revision but in some cases it will accept very similar motherboards.
you can upgrade any other hardware and it will still work. so a cpu upgrade or a better hard drive is acceptable.

retail works the same way but you can call up microsoft and change the motherboard 5 times.

thats cool ive just built a new system so i wont be needing any upgrades anytime soon just trying to save a few pennys along the way - cheers for the help
