Like most people I registered office 2000, wiped my HD a few times, even built a new comp and now I can't register it any more. Does any one know of a workaround? or do I have to call up microsoft and deal with them? Not something I would want to do as it's microsoft, ya know?

Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.

I believe there are cracks out there, but that's another matter...

When you reinstall it after formatting a HD, this little window pops up when you open an office program saying: "register it or the probram will quit working after 50 uses."

Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.

I have MS Office 2000 pro (legit). It isn't registered, I never bother registering any software unless I have to.

However, never seen a message about it quitting after so many uses.

What gives?
