Is it worthwhile upgrading my current office suite to office 365? I have noticed in Excel there are some functions that are not in the normal non-subscription based software, but I don't think I will be using them and therefore a waste of money for something I might not use

Is anyone using office 365 to give me an insight to some tangible usage to upgrading?

Solution
I have 365 on my laptop, and my wife uses 2016 or 2019 Premium for work. There are functions which she has and I don't. She's heavy PowerBI user.

End point: If you're happy with what you have, keep it. Said another way - if ain't broke, don't fix it.
"worth" is only something you can decide on.

What Office version are you using now?
What, specifically, in Excel have you see in 365 that is not in whatever version you're using now. And do you actually need that function?

I'm using non subscription based Office 2019

I have seen in my new laptop's Office 365 Excel, functions that are not in non sub based Excel, I have seen a few

I have 2019 as well.

But what, in O365, is there that you might need that does not exist in 2019?

I'm just saying...if there are specific functions in 365 that you need, then it might be worth it.
If not, no.

For me, no.
