Question Offline installer for AMD IGP

I'm building a new system as my home office computer with a Ryzen 5 8600G on an MSI Pro B650M-P motherboard. It will run Windows 10 x64.

The mobo didn't come with a driver DVD and the site has a display driver only for Windows 11, not for Windows 10. The AMD site seems to offer only "Auto-Detect and Install". I prefer offline installers for any software.

I have a DVD for an Asus motherboard from 2021. It has an AMD display driver which will probably work but I'm not sure it will be stable or optimal.

Can you please help?

Why Win 10?

You can always download the driver install package from AMD. It is the very next selection choice, AMD Adrenalin 772 MB.

Thanks. Now I recall seeing the Adrenalin driver and even remember the 772 MB size. I must have missed it later.

You should also get the latest BIOS and drivers for your motherboard here rather than using the included disc https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B650M-P/support#driver

As I said, the MSI site doesn't offer a display driver for Windows 10. This motherboard didn't come with a driver disc and the one I have is for an old Asus mobo.

You don't need a display driver from MSI, the latest AMD one is the proper one to use.

I also agree Windows 10 isn't the best idea with support ending this year.

Actually isn't that much difference between 10 and 11 when it comes to drivers, very likely the same driver is used for both.
