OH CR@P!!!

I need a replacement component for a P4 system..trouble is i don't know what it's called. It is made of plastic and it is the bit that attaches to the motherboard with four pins and screws so that the HSF assembley can attatch to that. if you could please post me to alink for a replacement i will be eternally grateful..

If it is Heat Sink related. You may just want to get a new HS and fan. There are alot of goog ones out there. Good luck.

I think you may be referring to the plastic mounting that the heatsink sits on. Can you describe your problem in more detail?

The mounting bracket, newegg.com carried them last I looked.
