@#$%$# oh...uh..Chaos Enpire mod problems

I am so F@#$%$# pissed now!
After installing th 7.55 version, I get the "missing file,
anticheat.dll" I can see the file in the DII folder. After several ties
with no joy at all, I decide to try to play normal DII :-( . Now it wont
open either! It tell me missing or coruppt files, unactivate chaos
empire mod. but this is after I have deleted the upgrade. What do I do
now?

Might have to uninstall the works, check the registry for chaos empire
entries and get rid of those too. Then try reinstalling diablo. I have tried
that mod several times and get the same bs so I gave up and reinstalled
diablo.

Yes. I doubt that you have anything else on your computer that uses the same
title.

I was really having fun with the chaos empire mod. I should have stayed
at version 7.51. I had few problems until I tried to install the newer
version. I guess now I have lost everything I have saved. Damn! It
almost makes me want to give up on Diablo completely.
