Oil Like Substance

On the bottom of my PC near the front fan there is a oil like substance on the bottom, it certainly smells like oil, would this be a problem.

The computer is around 5-6 month old, it's also no where near any of the main components.

It is probably leaking from one of the fans, if there are any nearby. For that fan, yes it is a problem.

The front fan as shown in the image above, would it just be excess lubricant they have put on when building it, I've checked the fan and fan speeds and all seem to be working fine, just thinking in the long run.

They seal if off when manufacturing, so there shouldn't be oil outside the bearings' case. I advise you to check the fan
for any oil leaks, and if yes, well then yeah, then the fan might get slower and die from the wear because the lack of oil. You can add oil I think, but it will probably leak out just as badly again.
