I have a gtx 780t, i5 4670k, corsair hx 750 psu,120Gb ssd, 2TB HDD, ASUS Maximus VI Hero Motherboard. I'm pretty much unable to play games. I've asked on here and on other places and every time people tell me to use some diagnostic software and everything seems ok. My cpu never gets over heated. I used furmark for my gpu and no issues. I am completely at a loss.
Can you please help? This has been going on for a few months. If I missed a hardware spec and need it ill add it. Also if there is some diagnostic software to use I will and ill post the results so you can see.
Also somewhat off topic but I play quite a bit of World of Warcraft. For the longest time I was able to play on the second lowest settings with high view distance. I was getting ~90 fps. It was smooth so I wasn't to worried. Then about 2-3 weeks ago I log on and fps is terrible. I have no idea why. I didn't install a new driver or anything. It was fine one day and the next when I log on my fps can hardly get above 30. If its relevant I had just installed the curse desktop client for addons, BUT I had also installed it on my laptop and had no issues with fps in game. Anyway, Warlords has come out and a couple of days ago Nvidia released a new driver that was supposed to give better performance. So I installed it thinking great I might get better performance. The complete opposite happened. It is possible to get worse performance. I was having single digit fps. It was like watching a slide show.
I am so lost. Everything else seems ok, nothing else that I can find seems wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
