The monitor with vga cable. It only has vga port and my graphics card only has a dvi port left. Would it work if I buy a dvi to vga adapter?

If your DVI port looks the bottom one in this picture :-

then that is the port you need to run your VGA monitor from using a DVI to VGA adapter.

I unplgged a dvi cable from the second dvi port, it looks like the bottom one.

That's the port to use for the VGA monitor by way of a DVI to VGA adapter.
