Is this a custom made PC or Brand name?
If custom, do you know what motherboard you have?
If brand name, what make/model?

If you aren't very technically minded, might be best getting PC repaired, its possible there is a hardware fault with either the motherboard of PC or the hdd, as you should never find yourself in the EFI shell, if the hdd is still working.

I don't know that brand name, its strange I can't find laptops on their website and yet can find the laptops on shopping sites. I don[t think Everis actually make those, they aren't a maker of computer hardware - https://www.everis.com/global/en/about-us

Possibly actually made by company called Warehouse, or maybe theWarehouse which would match up with https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/p/everis-14-inch-windows-10-notebook-burgundy/R2382104.html - I don't find them anywhere else apart from on this website so its possible Everis models are relabelled from somewhere else. - https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/c/electronics-gaming/computers-tablets/laptops - 3 on this page

You need it repaired, that menu should only show up if the PC starts and cannot find the drive windows is installed on and skips to that choice. If you are in NZ, there might be a local shop - https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/stores

Thanks.
Appreciate your help.
For someone who knows what they are doing, will it be an easy fix?

Are you holding ESC down for a few seconds or just pushing it?

If they know what they are doing, yes.

If it was a bigger brand, I might have been able to find a fix for it but there isn't anything on web. If this is made by The Warehouse, the repair shop may have seen this problem before and know the solution.

When the pc starts, the pc has a list of drives it chooses to run windows off, if one of those drives doesn't answer, it goes to next item on list. Its likely that this EFI screen is the last choice, and since drive isn't answering, the only choice .

its possible the hard drive in the pc has broken and they might need to replace it.
