I have spent HOURS searching Mournhold for some adamantium ore to have
custom armor made. Nothing! I've searched the underground ruins and sewers.
Can someone just tell me where to find the ore....also what the heck is
suppose to be IN the ruins....Something special?
Special quest
HELP! This frustrated old gamer!
Thanks guys

Did you check the Ruins located beneath the Mournhold Temple? I think
that I've found adamantium ore down there in the past...

If you're just interested in adamantium armor, download and install the
Official Adamantium Armor Mod which will add adamantium Armor to various
armor dealers around Vvardenfell.

That's my 2¢,

Also, be sure to have a very close look around the sewers as a whole -- not
just the areas that NPCs say may contain Admanantium, where rocks are
sometimes obscured form view, but also in places without these areas,
where you will find an Adamantium pauldron on a ledge here, a set of
greaves
there, and other miscellaneous pieces of armor that save you the effort and
frustration of collecting Adamantium ore to construct a piece of armor that
is actually somewhat common in the places where the untrained eye will not
easily find it.

There are some, but I doubt that it's emough for a cuirass... (or only
parts of it)

Is there any other way to get some nice Adamantium-Armor (without
killing someone!)? Maybe from some of the traders in Bloodmoon (which I
just started)? Im expecially interessted in the pauldons, because they
look quite good with robes, too.

Are you familiar with the ebony and glass mines? Adamantium works in a
similar way. In various areas of the underground ruins, you will see
large greyish lumps on the walls. Clicking on the right ones of these
gives you a _chance_ at getting adamantium ore. Your chance goes up with
higher levels and higher luck. It is obvious when you have found the
right ones, since it brings up a contents box just like the other
mining-type objects.

I haven't seen Adamantium in Solstheim. There is a guy outside Thirsk who
will make you Snow Wolf armor (Light Armor), or Snow Bear armor (Medium
Armor), if you bring him snow wolf or snow bear pelts. I can't speak to the
quality of those, since my specialty is Heavy Armor, and all other armor
looks equally lousy to me. The Heavy Armor that is indigenous to Solstheim
is Nordic Mail. This is about equal to Ebony, but not as good as Daedric.
However, Nordic Mail weighs significantly less than other heavy armors,
which can be an advantage. It also wears down faster, though. No one will
make you Nordic Mail, you just have to find it, which is not too difficult -
it shows up quite often in chests and crates. Also, on dead bodies. ;-)

I think that adamantium armor is for sale in Mournhold (if you have
Tribunal installed) or you can install the Adamantium armor mod. There
is also the Helm of Torham mod which has a nice adamantium helm.
