[SOLVED] Okay, so, do you guys have any idea on how I can remove the CD Drive in File Explorer?

I tried going to group policy editor, there's no option to exclude the E drive on where the CD drive currently is.

The utility you are using only works with hard drives. "Hide empty drives" is already checked, drive E is still there. Done the diskpart, drive E is not searchable at all. Is this dead end?

If you want to disable it, you can do that in Device Manager. Right-click Start and click Device Manager.

How? And how can I disable it if in the first place it's not there at all?

In device manager, did you go into view and click "show hidden devices"? As that would be where it shows if it exists.

Assuming you have a Lenovo laptop, the optical device is powered off by default so it won't show up in the Device Manager unless you open the tray. Press the tray botton and you should get a bubble saying the Power Manager is turning on your optical device. Wait a moment and the optical drive should show up in your device manager for about 10 seconds and then turn off, unless you load a DVD or leave the tray open.
