Okay so I bought a new computer here are the specs and the problems:?
I run in windows 7 ultimate (64-bit) (screen resolution 1680 x 1050)
AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core Processor (8CPUs), 3.6GHz
16gb ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670

For some reason I lag in most games i tried playing GTA 4 in highest specs and it was laggy as hell like 5fps then i lowered settings to medium and i still lag... Even when i play minecraft max amount of fps i get is 50-60fps I'm really stressed out i've been told i have a top notch computer and yet i can't even play games smoothly. I even went on "can I run it?" and it says i exceed far cry 3 recommended and crysis 3, so what the freaking hell is going on and how do i fix it?.
Additional Details
In minecraft i usually drop to about 10-25 when looking around and around 10-20 when i try to record,
my gta game is completely legit i bought it in steam,
My whole computer was custom built my a specialist that i know and trust.

Your build is more then adequate. If you have updated drivers for your GPU I would consider your connection. Or that firewall. Set your firewall to allow that connection. Could be virus protection scanning packets? Try turning those off and playing the game for a few minutes. Then you will troubleshoot that out. Then move on to (Device Manager) in your Search bar under Start. Open that and check for any Yellow flags under your drivers. Check your GPU driver. Click on it and update it. Unless you have your computer bottlenecked with a hdd 5300 rpm? Or you have your games installed on a secondary HDD? Instead of the C: drive.

That may be true but, I lag in most of my other games too I'm meant to have high fps in skyrim yet I don't..

well I spent about 7 hours playing Garry's Mod yesterday and maximum CPU temp i was getting was 37 degrees Celsius

But I can't even play Garry's Mod at max settings without lag...

I play everything from my D: drive but I already tried playing on either it didn't make a difference in fps.. I have updated my GTX 670 to latest update that didn't change anything all the connections seem to be fine I have AVG antivirus i scanned no threats were found... Firewall connections to games are all enabled. I have no clew what you meant by "Unless you have your computer bottlenecked with a hdd 5300 rpm" If you can explain what to do next In the easiest way possible I would be grateful!
