Hi guys,

Due to Covizzle, I have to make an old AMD 1100T BE rig work as a renderlol for now. It only has PCIe 2.0 and I have to run after effects and 3D applications on it via network to slowly crank out frames while I'm working on the other computer.

I still need to get a GPU or 2, Nvidia only, and of course it should make sense with the configuration, so I won't get an RTX , probably. What would make most sense? It needs to have a relatively recent shader version, or else the software won't run (GTX 980 runs fine), so it probably can't be too old. 6-8 GB ram minimum would be great also

Please help. I'm lost in the used gear jungle. And please don't mock me too badly either, I know it's kinda foolish 😂

Edit: win 10, of course 2 GPUs would be best, maybe non SLI, don't know what's "better", but I can assign 2 GPUs to render their own frames each.
