Old boot drive is going into new pc, But will it boot.

I’m finished building a new pc and doing a fresh windows 10 install. I have a ssd and hhd from my old pc I would like to put in my new pc. My ssd was my boot drive and my hdd was my steam library. I want to get old files off my ssd, can I have it in my system without affecting boot up, So I can transfer those file to my new ssd.
