So I have this 'decent' old build it is as followed,

-Mobo: m5a97 le R2.0
-Ram: 2x8, 16gbs of ballistic sport at 936mhz 11-11-11-30 (its supposed to be 1600mhz)
-Cpu: fx-8350
-Cpu liquid cooler: fairly new as in 2 years or so old, master cooler H60 with pull-push fan set up.
-Case masterbox lite 5 rgb
-GPU nvidia 1070 FE
-PSU 650w evga bronze 80+

I'm trying to see if I can squeeze some extra performance out of this thing that would be worth it. This is not my main build. This is a gaming PC I have for when friends come over. I'm not too concerned about money, but obviously (as the upgrades can be acquired over time if needed.) I would like to keep it as cheap as possible with the most gains? But sometimes you have to make sacrifices; so anyone can put there 2 sense in, but I guess the main thing I want to avoid would be putting together a whole new build if at all possible. Thanks in advance sorry for the bad grammar.

Awesome, thank you so much I've just been trying to overcome the bottleneck of my old tech and this fits my budget, so this works out perfectly! Been fighting to try to overcome the CPU bottleneck on that card for a while! :)

Dont care about bottlenecks.
Sure they are there, but you can always upgrade your components.
As long as the components work together and satisfy your needs, that's all i would care about to be honest with you.
There are no components that have 0% bottleneck when paired together, there is always a stronger component, so its useless to hunt for a perfect pair, if you get what i mean.
