Question OLD COMPUTER WON'T CONNECT WIFI

MY OLDER DELL COMPUTER WILL NOT CONNECT TO MY 2020 NEW ROUTER BUT IT WILL CONNECT WITH ETHERNET. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

First take off your cap lock.

Then, insure that the laptop wireless is turned on and its driver in Device Manager says that it's working.

Next check to see if the old computer is using WPA2/AES for its security, most routers have the capability of turning off old legacy connections that would slow the entire network.

As a novice I do not know how to check my desktop computer to see if it is using WPA2/AES for its security.
