I'm trying to copy a old DVD to my PC with video files that came from a Sony Digital Video Camera and that was written to the DVD by a home entertainment DVD player/writer.
I'm copying old family home videos from about 20 DVD's to hard drive to be uploaded to the cloud and share with my family. All the DVD's copied perfectly except for one. It copies about 70% then gives a cyclic redundancy error. I've told the software to ignore all errors, but the DVD fails to complete the copy.
Does anyone know of software that would be able to copy the parts of the video that are still good and ignore the bad parts? Thanks.
PS. The underside of the DVD is pristine with no scratches or dust. My dad was very careful with his DVD's.
