Hello!
So I recently found this old dell monitor at my grandpas place, and It was perfect to use as a third monitor. However, it only has a DVI port. And my main monitor which is a 144hz monitor already uses the dvi port on my GPU.
So, I thought hey I will just get a DVI to HDMI or DVI to Displayport. But, the DVI cable from the monitor is a weird DVI, it only has 15 pins. Now to my question: Is this 15 pin connector special, can I not use any DVI to HDMI cable? Does it need to be a specific cable since the monitor is so old?
If my message was long and chaos I apologize.
-Thanks
